The Art of Electricity (ALBUM: 2014)
The 2015 album "The Art of Electricity" was produced and mixed by Grammy producer Johnny K (Lucky Boys Confusion, Plain White T’s, Three Doors Down). The album contained 9 original songs including "Ash" "Lightning Bolt" and "No Forfeit".
"Art of Electricity masterfully runs the gamut of modern rock and pop songs, owing as much to Williams’ undeniable talent as a songwriter as to his irresistible charisma as a performer". - Jim Hanke (Vinyl Emergency) “Ash,” was included on a promotional compilation at South By Southwest and since the band’s six showcases during SXSW in Austin 2014, the song has seen airplay on hundreds of college and national radio stations including 101.1WKQX Chicago. I've interviewed and performed on some of Chicago's top radio and television shows including Mancow Morning, WGN with Patty Vasquez, and "Outside the Loop" , ABC7 Chicago Morning News promoting the album and events surrounding it. LIGHTNING BOLT was released on May 19th 2017 and ASH was released February 5th 2018 on all digital download/streaming outlets. Both songs were spun on Demo312 show on 101.1FM WKQX hosted by James VanOsdol on the day of their releases. PROMISED LAND will be included in the feature documentary "Homegrown the Movie." NO FORFEIT will be included in a feature documentary titled "A Dream Film." Both to be released sometime in 2020 and 2021 respectfully. |
“The music of "Art of Electricity", including Lightning Bolt and Ash, carry infusions of classic rock & indie with influences of punk & folk, melded into an original sound we're proud to share."
