The Homegrown House Band
2013 - 2015
2013 - 2015
Ghost Town: Written in 1996 by Aaron Williams for his first band The Wooz. For whatever reason the song was brought back for the Homegrown House Band for three shows in 2014 including The 2nd annual Homegrown Arts and Music Festival along with New Years 2015 in Lombard IL at JT's Porch. Ghost Town originally was a punk rock anthem reworked to fit the House Band's Country / Folk / Bluegrass vibe. Surprisingly worked very well.
Hitch and Go: Original song written in 2009 by Michael C Hayes. He and bassist Rob Kletsky were in a band named 3 in Counting for many years before the formation of the Homegrown House Band. During the bands tenure, 3 in Counting recorded a self titled album in 2011 including this track Hitch and Go.
Long Road: Song written by Brain Connelly in 2014 and performed with the Homegrown House Band throughout the entire time together.
Right Time: Original Song written in 2007 by Aaron Williams and released on the album The Everwinding Road in 2008. Right was performed during 2007 - 2010 very regularly with Aaron Williams Band. When considering a song to bring back from the past for The Homegrown House Band, this was the obvious choice. Catering to the bluegrass/Americana feel plus when performed live has a nice jam called "Swampy Boogie" as the end.
This Town: Another song written by Brian Connelly. Presumably about our home town. Great themed tune for a Homegrown Arts and Music Festival sing-a-long.
World Keeps Turning: Original song written in 2015 by Aaron Williams for the Homegrown House Band. The song was only performed by the Homegrown House Band once during the 3rd annual Homegrown Arts and Music Festival. The song then made it's debut with Aaron Williams Band live at House of Blues with members of House Band as guests. Has also had a lot of stage time in 2017 during the Ex_Files tour.
